Alberto Holm Cardona joined Galicia Abogados in 2018 as an associate in the Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance area. His work is focused on regulatory, development and financing of energy projects. The sectors / industries in which he has specialized have been: energy (electricity and hydrocarbons), infrastructure, public procurement and real estate development.
Alberto worked from 2014 to 2016 as a law clerk at Nader, Hayaux & Goebel, S.C. in the Infrastructure and Real Estate Development areas, where he advised and collaborated in different types of infrastructure projects such as hospitals, highways, aqueducts and public lighting while advising different parties, for example, Government Entities, Developers/Sponsors and Financials Creditors. In particular, Alberto participated in Public-Private Partnership infrastructure projects.
In relation to the area of Real Estate Development, Alberto advised a hospitality Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in Mexico, in the purchase of hotels in operation and in the purchase of lots of land to develop new projects. Before that, he was a law clerk at the Public Notary #230 of Mexico City.
Alberto studied law at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) (2018) and has a diploma in Energy Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho (ELD) (2018).
