César Díaz

César joined the Energy and Project Finance practice of Galicia Abogados in 2018. He specializes in the Power and Renewables Sectors, with a vast expertise on Regulatory, Transactional and Project Finance Law.

His practice is predominantly focused on advising developers, constructors, operators, GenCos, suppliers, sponsors, investors and lenders (including ECAs, MLAs and commercial lenders) in all kind of Power and Infrastructure Projects, mainly Renewable Projects.

Cesar has worked in the best energy teams of the most-respected Mexican law firms, as well as Senior Legal Counsel of a Multinational Renewable Company. Likewise, he actively participates as academic, speakers and as a member in many associations and committees in the sector (ASOLMEX, AMDEE, AIPN, etc.).

He qualified at Escuela Libre de Derecho (2013) and obtained his Master’s Degree (LL.M) in Energy and Natural Resources Law from Queen Mary University of London (2018).
