Erika joined Galicia Abogados in 2013 as an associate of our Environmental practice area. Her work is focused in M&A transactions and project finance, specializing in the renewable energy, mining, retail, manufacturing and tourism sectors. As well, she has worked close with clients in the the automotive spare parts industry, which has allowed her to acquire technical expertise in the regulatory aspects of this industry.
She has experience in projects at different stages of development, from planning through construction, to operations and expansions, developing strategies and arguments for securing the required authorizations from urban and environmental authorities.
As a keen advocate for social and environmental sustainable development, with a particular concern for the conservation of cultural and natural heritage, she has promoted and leaded pro bono work on these matters within the Firm, building on her professional and human skills.
She studied law at Universidad Iberoamericana (2013), and an MSc in Energy, Society and Sustainability at the University of Edinburgh (2020).
Her native language is Spanish and she is fluent in English.
