Ricardo Pedroza joined Galicia Abogados in 2018. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, advising domestic and international companies, including private equity funds, in acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and exits in varied sectors, including energy, infrastructure, hotels, and education and marketing services, among other industries. In addition, he has advised venture capital funds in the structuring of vehicles to carry out their operations.
Prior to joining Galicia Abogados, Ricardo was part of Solórzano, Carvajal, González y Pérez-Correa, S.C. (SOLCARGO), specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and private equity (2013 to 2015); in addition, Ricardo was part of White & Case, S.C., focusing his practice in mergers and acquisitions and antitrust (2015 to 2017) and of Mayer Brown México, S.C., specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private equity (2018).
Ricardo has participated in publications, including: “Mechanisms to Prevent Hostile Takeovers in International and Mexican Stock Markets” published in the Law and Economics Review (Revisión Legal y Económica) of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) (2016).
Ricardo obtained a Law Degree from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2019. Dissertation: Shareholder Agreements Related to Joint Venture Exits: Issues and Challenges.
