Fernando Rodríguez

Fernando joined Galicia in 2018 as an associate in the Customs & International Trade practice.

His work focuses on aspects of foreign trade operations, such as tariff classification, non-tariff regulations, rules of origin, and tax audits. He has also participated in various project developments, especially in the energy sector, related to the procurement and application of production and export promotion programs. Likewise, he has participated in several proceedings on unfair international trade practices, such as antidumping.

Before joining Galicia, Fernando worked as an intern and associate in the international trade practice for multiple Mexican law firms. He also collaborated with King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne, Australia.

He received his bachelor’s in Law with honors from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2013) and has a specialization degree in International Trade Law from the same institution (2016). He also has a master’s in Energy and Resources Law from University of Melbourne Law School (2018).
