backOctavio is an associate in the Infrastructure and Project Finance practice areas.
He has experience advising public entities, investors and financial institutions throughout all stages of infrastructure projects, including structuring, financing, construction and operation, as well as in mergers and acquisitions transactions. In recent years, he has been actively involved in projects in the highways, mobility, rail and port sectors.
In the academic field, Octavio has taught Sociology of Law at Escuela Libre de Derecho, as well as Language and Law in the Master’s Program in Procedural Law at the same institution. He has also participated as a visiting professor in the Civil Law I course at Universidad Panamericana, and in the Galicia Seminar taught at Universidad Iberoamericana.
He is a co-author of several articles published by The Legal 500, Thomson Reuters, The Law Reviews and Lexology, among others.
Octavio holds an LL.B. with honors from Escuela Libre de Derecho and an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law.
He is admitted to practice law in Mexico and in the State of New York.
