Ana María joined Galicia in 2020 as an associate in the Civil & Commercial Litigation and Arbitration practices.
She started her career at a boutique commercial litigation firm, representing clients from the financial, real estate, and trade industries. She also clerked for Justice Javier Laynez Potisek at the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice, drafting decisions as well as concurring and dissenting opinions.
Ana María studied law at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, earned a diploma in Insurance and Sureties Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho, and has a master’s degree in law from Columbia University. In 2020, Ana María passed the New York State bar exam.
