backBegoña joined Galicia in 2018 and is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate practices.
She advises domestic and foreign companies and private equity funds on corporate matters related to corporate restructurings, acquisition of shares and assets in different sectors and industries (including energy, infrastructure, technology, hotels and education) and real estate transactions, specifically real estate investment trusts (REITs) and hotel developments, with a primary focus on transactional work.
Begoña has international experience as a foreign associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s New York City office.
She holds a law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (2019) and studied abroad at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2017). She also earned an LL.M. from Columbia Law School (2024), graduating with honors.
