Marianela is an associate in Galicia’s regulatory practice.
She supports clients in compliance matters, particularly in the establishment of compliance programs, trainings and investigations.
Marianela obtained her LL.B. from Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) (2009) and a master’s in Public Policy from Hertie School of Governance in Berlin (2014), under a DAAD scholarship. She also completed postgraduate studies in European Union Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
She received the Golden Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria as she helped establish the Austrian School in Mexico.
Marianela worked as foreign associate at Hengeler Mueller’s Frankfurt office.
She is the Secretary for the Proeducación Board of Trustees and Secretary for the German Alexander von Humboldt School Board of Directors in Mexico, where she leads the Corporate Governance Committee. She is a Mergers & Acquisitions professor at CIDE.
Marianela is a member of Galicia's Sustainability Committee.
