Conformity Assessment Procedure of Mexican Official Standard NOM-006-SCFI-2012, Alcoholic Beverages, Tequila-Specifications

On May 10th, 2022, the Conformity Assessment Procedure (the “Assessment Procedure”) of NOM-006-SCFI-2012, Alcoholic Beverages, Tequila-Specifications (“NOM-006”), was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation. The purpose of such resolution is to establish the requirements and procedures for sampling, testing, calibration, certification and inspection to determine compliance with the NOM-006, so that interested parties may use the Appellation of Origin “Tequila”.
