BackOn December 16, the National Commission on Minimum Wages (CONASAMI) approved by a majority of 12 to 11, the proposal to increase the general and professional minimum wages that will become effective as of January 1st, 2021. It should be noted that, considering the current economic context in the country and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the employers’ representatives voted against said increase accepted by the workers’ representatives and the President of CONASAMI, in his capacity as representative of the Federal Government.
