Subcontracting (outsourcing) reform: tax considerations

On November 12, the President of Mexico submitted before the Chamber of Deputies the initiative to reform the subcontracting regime (outsourcing). Said initiative comprises labor, social security and tax aspects.

According to the explanatory statement of the initiative, the main objective of this reform proposal, from a tax perspective, is to make a distinction between the legal schemes for hiring personnel, and those that will not.
