On December 17, 2020, the National Hydrocarbons Commission (“CNH”) published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (“DOF”) Resolution No. CNH.50.002/2020 amending various articles of the Administrative Provisions regarding bids for Contracts for the Exploration and Extraction of Hydrocarbons (the “Resolutions”). Such amendments became effective the day following their publication in the DOF. Under such Resolutions, the CNH amended Resolution CNH.11.001/14, dated November 28, 2014, by virtue of which the CNH issued the Administrative Provisions regarding bidding processes for Contracts for the Exploration and Extraction of Hydrocarbons (the “Provisions”).
