On December 5, 2023, NOM-037-STPS-2023 (“NOM”) came into force, which main purpose is to establish the safety and health conditions in the workplace for employees under the telework modality.
Employers with employees under this modality must comply with several obligations, including the following.
a) To have an updated list of the employees working under this modality.b) To set up a Telework Policy, which must be disclosed in the workplace.
c) To provide the necessary working tools for the development of the activities of the employees in this modality.
d) To provide training to teleworkers regarding safety and health conditions, among others.
